FLUMMOX

Since this interface scheme (top and bottom) relies on javascript and frames, you will need to pick up this zip file in order to get all the images you will need.
The zip of everything includes a blank version of the title -so you can add your own site's name- and all the images you see on this page. The zip also includes the html for the frames, the nested tables and the javascript.

Remember the Golden Rule of Graphics Mining, and refer back to http://moyra.com/jewels on every page that displays this interface via this tiny logolet. Also, if you sell *anything* through your web site or profit financially from my artwork in any way, you must obtain a license for it.

Special Notice

This interface is linkware, and is provided *as is*, with a customizable title image in the zip. Attention has been given to making the subtitles generic and useable by most *homepages*, and only the main title area may be altered using the blank images enclosed in the zip.
If you would like other text in the sub-title portions to reflect non-generic site navigation, I have two words: Rent me. Additionally, the entire interface and the backgrounds can be customized with a color combination and textures that would suit your pages and your business.
The price is 25 USD *per* mouseover title change, because there are 2 images involved. The customization of this scheme is separately negotiable - kindly inquire within.

Recommended HTML text colors for the eminently tasteful:

1. Normal Text - #4F76FF
2. Links - #D41F00
3. Visited Links - #AA0000

The images here are NOT transparent. They are jpgs, and will only work on the textured double-bordered background tile they are on.

Because the background intended for this interface is somewhat intense, you can use a background color in your text boxes, which you can then frame with the red pattern tile (included in the zip ).
Suggestion, #000030 for the main text area - for cross browser compatibility, you should use the included color tile.
The text boxes are simply tables with 3 vertical and 3 horizontal cells. You can use the template demo html file that is included in the zip to set yours up.

Reminder: Even if you use this navigational interface, text navigation for all your site's main areas should be at the bottom of your pages.

ABOUT THE FLUMMOX INTERFACE SCHEME

Its eternally engrossing and entertaining for me to come up with fresh ways to display and lay out web pages, and interesting and usable site navigation schemes. Additionally, I have a weird color combination fetish (as if you hadn't noticed ;-> ).
This frames and navigational scheme was specially created as an endlessly customizable look. The actual shapes and elements are very simple, elegant and useable,  they just LOOK lush and intense here because of the teal and purples they are clad in.
There are, exceptionally, TWO versions of this interface. Have you seen the other one?
Its also quite a challenge to create these customizable looks, because my first temptation is always to create something illustration-based that can only work in one particular way. Imagine everything on this page in greys and beiges, or in shades of blue, or in any colors and textures that please you, and then contact me. I would love to customize it for a client!
